The Philadelphia Eagles will be trying to prove their loss to the injury riddled Seattle Seahawks on Sunday was a fluke when they visit the Los Angeles Rams this week. The game will be played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and is scheduled to begin at 4:25 PM.

My Pick
Philadelphia Eagles Analysis…
The Eagles had the best record in the league until their loss to Seattle, dropping them in to a tie with the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots.
They will be going against a Los Angeles team still smarting from their loss to the Minnesota Vikings a couple of weeks ago, that’s still trying to finish with the best record in the conference and get home field advantage in the playoffs.
This will also be the first meeting between quarterbacks Jared Goff and Carson Wentz, who were drafted one and two respectively in the 2016 NFL draft.
Offensively, the Eagles are averaging 30.1 points per game, which is first in the league, thanks to Wentz and his league leading 29 touchdowns.
Defensively, the Eagles are also one of the best teams in the NFL, holding opponents to 17.6 points per game, which is 6th in the country.
After giving up 24 points to the Seahawks on Sunday, the Eagles will need to be much better against a very talented Los Angeles offense.
Los Angeles Rams Analysis…
Like the Eagles, the Rams have also been one of the biggest surprises in the NFL this season, and find themselves one game behind the Eagles in the conference standings.
With the Eagles losing to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, the Rams find their lead in the NFC West reduced to one game, making this a very big game for them.
Offensively, the Rams are also averaging 30.1 points per game, putting them in a tie for first with the Eagles. Jared Goff has thrown for over 3,000 yards and has 20 touchdown passes this season, while Todd Gurley has 939 rushing yards and 563 receiving yards this season.
The Rams defense, which is allowing 18.5 points per game, dominated the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, helping the team to an easy 32-16 win.
With the best offense in the league coming into town this week, the Rams will need to avoid making silly mistakes that can cost them the game, and take some notes from the Seattle Seahawks, who held the Eagles to only 10 points on Sunday.
Final word…
This will be a very close game, but the Rams will take advantage of playing in front of their home crowd and get the win. Take Los Angeles -2.
Play: Rams -2
