The Heat have been automatic at home in these playoffs so far. They are 8-0 at home in these playoffs so far and during the regular season the Heat were 32-9 at home. Home court advantage is huge in the NBA and the Heat have shown that they are near impossible to beat at home when they are playing their best.
Lebron James had a huge outing in game 2 and I expect more of the same in game 3 as he continues to quiet his critics. Game 2 was a strange game for Lebron because in the first half the Spurs took away his shot attempts, but he found a way to get to the basket and then in the second half the Spurs were letting him shoot and he was draining shots. This resulted in a very strange difference in shot attempts by half with the first half almost all by the basket and the second half from the perimeter.
Chris Bosh also had a big game 2 with some clutch shooting down the stretch. If the big 3 on Miami are all rolling like they are now they are almost unbeatable at home.
Add in the fact that Tim Duncan admitted that he is really playing on one and a half legs and you have to tilt the favour for this series in the direction of the Heat. I’m expecting them to not lose at home this series and to win in 6 thanks to getting that road victory in game 2.
