Eli Manning and the New York Giants will be travelling to the steel city to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend in a game that has playoff implications for both teams. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:25 PM. ET.

Giants vs Steelers Odds
- New York Giants +6.5
- Pittsburgh Steelers -6.5
- Over/Under 49
My Pick
After missing the playoffs for three straight seasons, the Giants look poised to make their post season return this year. However, the team will have to avoid a late season slump to make their post season return possible.
During the offseason, the Giants addressed what had been their biggest weakness in recent years, their defense. The money they spent trying to improve the defense seems to be worth it because they are one of the best defensive teams in the league this year.
New York is holding opponents to 19.4 points per game, which is 5th in the league. Offensively, the team is once again relying on the arm of Manning and the skills of wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to win games.
The Giants failed to address their non-existent running game in the offseason, and have been relying on Manning to bail them out all year. So far, their plan has worked thanks to the fact that Manning is taking better care of the ball this year than he has done on the past, but being a one dimensional offense will likely hurt them down the line.
The Steelers were preseason favorites to win the AFC North, but an injury to Ben Roethlisberger saw the team lose four straight games after a 4-1 start. Pittsburgh is currently behind the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North due to the Ravens having a win over the Steelers, but they are still very much in the race for the division.
After losing their first game with Roethlisberger back in the lineup, the Steelers have won two consecutive games and will be trying to make it three straight.
The Giants on the other hand have won six consecutive games, but with the Ravens being the only opponent they defeated during that span with a winning record, it is difficult to know just how good or bad the Giants are.
Even though LeVeon Bell has been playing well, look for the Steelers to try and air the ball out in an attempt to exploit New York’s secondary, which has been suspect at times this season. Antonio Brown, who is one of the best receivers in the league will likely have a big game against the Giants, who will have trouble keeping him contained.
On the other side, the Steelers also have to figure out how to slow down Beckham, who has been on a tear in recent weeks. If the Steelers can slow Beckham down, the Giants offense will have a hard time moving the ball.
Final Word….
The Giants are on a roll, but the Steelers know they can’t afford to lose this game so I’m going with the Steelers to win and cover the spread.
