The Democratic Party, with Barack Obama as the leader, is the favorite at the moment to remain in power, but the race has become much more competitive over recent weeks with Obama struggling to keep a lead over Mitt Romney and the Republican Party.

As you can see the Democratic Party is around 2 to 1 favorites to win the election, but they are by no means a runaway favorite at this point. There are still a few weeks to sway the voters and it will be interesting to see how the rest of the debates go and how the polls come in closer to Election Day.
