The 2021 NFL Draft is set to begin on Thursday April 29th with the first round, and continue until May 1st. The Draft will take place in Cleveland and top prospects will be in attendance. The Jacksonville Jaguars have the first overall draft and are expected to select QB Trevor Lawrence with the first selection.

First Selected Running Back

Najee Harris is expected to be the first running back taken off the board, but he is a late first round selection in most mock drafts so it’s definitely not a lock.
First Wide Receiver Selected
Ja’Marr Chase is the favorite to be the first wide receiver taken in this years draft. Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Smith, last years Heisman Trophy winner, are the other two possibilities.
When Is Trey Lance Selected?
Trey Lance will be an interesting name to watch on Draft Night. Some mock drafts have him going #3, but others have him dropping outside of the Top 10. It is consensus that QB’s will go in the first three picks. The question becomes which teams will then select the two remaining top 5 quarterbacks in the first round.
